Learn English for the life you actually live
A useful learning plan starts with situations, not a random list of topics. The language you need at work, at an appointment or during a move should shape what returns in practice.
Start with a real outcome
Choose one situation you expect to face. Write down what you need to understand, say and ask. This gives vocabulary and grammar a clear job.
Practise complete phrases
A word becomes usable when you can retrieve it inside a natural pattern. Learn appointment with make an appointment, confirm an appointment and reschedule an appointment.
Could I reschedule my appointment for Friday?
Rehearse the difficult turn
Do not stop after the opening sentence. Practise the clarification, interruption or unexpected question that usually makes a real conversation difficult.
Review by skill
Recognising a phrase is not the same as saying it. Review listening, recall, pronunciation and production separately, then combine them in a short role-play.
Debrief after the event
After the real conversation, record what worked, what was missing and one phrase you want ready next time. Use those notes to plan your next study session.
