How LingSort reviews content.
We clearly label content that has been written, checked or created with automated help. Draft material stays out of search results until the right language specialist reviews it.
What we publish
LingSort creates practical language instruction: definitions, Turkish meanings, examples, pronunciation guidance, grammar contrasts, course sequences and real-life practice. Content must help a learner complete a specific task; pages made only to capture a search query are not approved.
Dictionary reviews
The catalogue connects 3,000 shared meanings across languages. Importing a word from a trusted source is not the same as checking it for learners. A word page appears in search results only after a named language specialist checks its meaning, examples, common word partners, pronunciation and review date.
Translations across 18 languages
The shared vocabulary collection covers 18 languages and 306 directions. Translations that still need a native-language review are labelled as drafts. A language-pair page appears in search results only after a named specialist reviews it and records the date.
Sources and original teaching
We record the source and licence for imported dictionary material. A copied definition is never treated as a finished lesson: learners also need a clear meaning, a natural example, pronunciation help and useful context. Citizenship, safety, immigration and exam pages link to primary official sources and explain when information may change.
How review works
- Check the word, language, writing system and required fields.
- Make sure every example matches the stated meaning.
- Add a learner-friendly explanation, pronunciation note or useful contrast.
- Record who reviewed the content and when.
- Check for duplicates, mixed languages, unclear titles and unsupported claims.
Corrections
Readers can report a definition, translation, example, pronunciation, source or accessibility problem through the contact form. Include the page and the correction you expect. Important changes are checked before publication.

Ads are limited to one placement on the public adult homepage, after the learning content. Dictionary pages, generated vocabulary, language-pair previews, search results, account pages, errors and LingSort Kids do not show ads. Moving to one of those pages removes the ad code. If the ad service is unavailable, no empty ad box is shown.
